HOSTELS
Chhatralaya for Boys:

This is a hostel for students of the schools. Pupils are admitted at about the age of ten. Preference is given to poor and deserving Jain boys from villages where no educational facilities are available. These boys are given financial assistance in terms of concessions or total exemption from the boarding, lodging, and school tuition fees.
The boys are trained to live a simple and self-reliant life in the hostel. Their daily schedule begins at 5 a.m. with a community prayer, P.T. and Games. At 7:30 a.m. the pupils devote some time to their individual prayers, pujas etc. for which they may visit the temple on the campus if they so wish. Jain boys and girls are encouraged to learn some selected Jain sutras. A light refreshment in the afternoon and milk in the evening is given in addition to the main meals. Most of the individual and community work like cleaning of utensils, washing of clothes, etc. is done by the boys themselves. A Hostel Panchayat of the boys assists in the hostel administration.
