ACTIVITIES

During the summer vacation, the Centre organizes a range of activities. Apart from regular courses for students of Std. I to XII (including special preparatory classes for Std. X and XII ), the summer is also a time for many creative courses organized by the Centre. These include Web-designing, Animation and Educational Games related to interesting concepts in Science and Mathematics.	Some Sample of Students work - Vacation Batch 07

	With the aim of spreading awareness about Information technology to the students of C. N. Vidyavihar, the Computer Centre publishes a magazine under the title "CN Computer Vision". In the Magazine all the latest information regarding computer world are published.

The Centre runs a Computer Club that meets every Saturday. The Club conducts events that help in sharing knowledge of the latest technology, and arranges for industrial visits.

	An annual exhibition at the Computer Centre has become a major attraction of the Vidyavihar. The exhibition is a platform to display the work done by students at the Centre. There is a separate section for Hardware in which Model–making using new technology is demonstrated. As a part of the exhibition, the Computer Centre and the Computer Society of India conduct an Elocution and a Quiz competition. The exhibition is open to other schools.

It is noteworthy that the Computer Centre has not restricted itself to training students. The Centre has contributed to the Vidyavihar in academic and other ways. The training programmes it has conducted for teachers and clerical staff of the Vidyavihar is a good example. Also worthy of mention is that, thanks solely to the Centre, the entire Student election process in the Middle School has been computerised.
